Trees part one

My new obsession is trees.
Just on the way to work there are so many cool tree trunks, canopies with interesting shapes and the angles just grab my attention.

I like the "right turn, Clyde" kind of branch!

This is one tree. It just split way down at the base.

Harder to see this shape but it angles way over and then decides to circle back. 

The letter C.

This one has a lot of gnarly angles.  

And yes, I pulled over to the side of the road solely to take this pic!

I'm from the Midwest where trees mostly grow straight up. 

Maybe that's why I find these interesting.
